I assumed it will be bad and it was, what suprises me is that the whole setting seems washed out. I thought that these were some snippets from a stage rehearsal. also their lip-syncing got bad. nowadays, or / every since beyonce, people are paying high money to get trained into perfectly lip/sync

Sorry you had to come back to all the BTS fiasco, it's been a mess all weekend re: the album & concert reviews, etc. And on Twitter, they still can't determine how many people were at the Netflix concert, but I'm kinda leaning on Seoul city officials 40-55K number.

The Arirang title as well as the tour was revealed in advance, so people could put their hard earned funds toward them only to be disappointed- thinking the album was going to have Korean roots in it, but all it has is recycled, western leftovers that no other artists wanted. Because it all screams Western validation for a possible grammy nomination. It seems like their Korean roots & forcing more English than Korean in their songs are being snatched away from them as long as they remain under Hybe.
I smell disbandment right around the corner, because they can barely stand being around each other- Namjoon's subtle insults of the members: his bragging about being the only one to speak English in the song Aliens, & making Jin feel irresponsible because he didn't contribute to the album writing due to being on his own tour...

What happened with their “comeback” is exactly how I imagined it would be, and it is related to what I’ve been mentioning in the past. One of the main problems is that they never had a focus on either music or dance in order to stay famous. They had some good songs in the beginning, but then relied solely on the work of some very obsessed fans to push them to the front. Then we had this very awful period of changes where homosexuality became something like a godly way of existence that you cannot touch, and there they came, being the image for stupid “toxic masculinity propaganda,” with them being the example that you can be a man while… still not a man, probably? I don’t know—either way, you know all the bullshit. And now it doesn’t really work this way anymore.
The numbers are very low for someone that represents Korean pride, and it shows that they can lie about the numbers as much as they want, but in the end, 45K is nowadays standard for acts that exist because they are based on girls’ fantasies. It’s not just BTS or boy band groups. Also, like I’ve mentioned before, with 30 Seconds to Mars or whatever other male singer—those artists are always going to have success because their fan base is basically girls or women living their fantasies through their appearance, or through a male object feeding their time with love stories in their minds. As always, the choreography had moves from all songs—for example, “Swim” has moves from “Swan”—but it’s just that their songs are so bad, and it’s just about pushing Western Jewish American stupidity and their incapability of doing something meaningful down everyone’s throat.
I don’t think it would have been otherwise if they had had the same “comeback” years ago during corona or if they hadn’t gone to the military. It was obvious that it was a balloon—or whatever you call it, a bubble—about to explode. I mean, it’s not like their fans are going to stop keeping them afloat, but it’s obvious that going the same route as they did until now—being dragged by, or better said living off their obsessed fans—is not a way to exist, because right now there is nothing that could make me, or other people, listen to whatever they release.

the only nice thing is the background dancing of jimins. and his as well, because he is the only one in the group who is good enough to make it look good. but the rest...no. by they way, try watching this with sound off and notice the famous robotic tourette-like moves.
If I were their coreographer, I would have changed everyone's stupid annoying choreo (except jimins) with something else.
