I believe some of them are blackmailed and we all know how big the blackmail culture is in SK. Company won’t ever allow them go, any of them. They are their main/only moneymaker.
Plus I believe there are two handlers in the BTS. One of them is Jin as it was mentioned here.
Of course that company don’t mind them be to addicts, it easier for H to control them as puppets.
