It seems like the Kpop trend is leaning more toward English songs & "forcing" them to sing English so they can dominate Billboard. Even when it was said BTS would be in LA for 2months working on their album, it's probably gonna be predominant English w/little Korean depending on who they are working with. But I do miss the old school songs where Koreans spoke Korean...this Blackpink song sounds terrible.

BTS became famous (whatever percentage of that fame was real, that's another thing) for their korean text. I don't mind having a language to be used predominantly for singing. classical opera has mostly italian and german, lied - german, because that's where it was mostly invented. but singing english to reach more audience AND losing the essence of what makes one's individuality, that's what destroys everything.
first BTS song i heard was Dang. And I still like it.
you can still see it from here, 7 years later, how their worst aspects worsened - the never ending hand moves, namjoon who wants to come out as "deep", taehyung destroying the moment by entering the stage to make it about him, suga yoongi whatever drunki with his hunchback from notre dame and ...actually the one who is less fake, though too much staged in his choreography is hoseok, who, looks more real than the awful gayness he's displaying now. well...he got extremely gay shortly after, like everyone else.
In the end, i can say the same thing about all of them - if they would have just stayed a bit true to themselves and concentrate on the music, they could have provided good content.
